The White House Celebrates African American Women & Dance

Today, legendary director/choreographer Debbie Allen shared a video of beautiful little black girls getting a lesson in African dance at the White House and our hearts just swooned!

In celebration of dance, which plays a major role in African American culture, The White House hosted a Master Class introducing dance/exercise to some, while giving up and coming dancers the opportunity to learn from the best.

Famed choreographers Virginia Johnson, Fatima Robinson, and Judith Jamison were also on hand to lead a masterclass for the young dancers.
